Sharing my thoughts:

Kaiden always prefers highly intense physical play, including dashing and crashing into his environment; he appreciates spending time outdoors and acquiring basic, practical skills. Kaiden can develop into a sensitive young man who enjoys being hugged and wants someone to spend time with him.

According to my observations, if Kaiden’s childhood consisted primarily of vigorous play and being soothed by extremely physical embraces, this could have resulted in the child being more physically active than the average child his age. As a result, Brian was able to look at it from two different perspectives. Brian may conclude that not every child plays as physically as he does and that the school is justified in their concerns to a certain extent, or he may become irritated and believe that the school is overreacting.

Targeted Behaviors (Behaviors to be decreased):

1. Reduce the number of destructive behaviors that are interfering with education.

2. Participate in and learn from a group setting.

3. Child Service Development in the Context of System of Care.

Punishment(s) (if applicable):

Teachers are legally permitted to assign a child to detention without notifying the parents or explaining the detention’s issuance. However, they are required to consider the welfare of children to ensure that they are not placed in danger.

Replacement Behaviors (Behaviors to be increased):

1. Functional behavior evaluation.

2. Consistent with the goals of the learning environment in the classroom.

3. Educate students to minimize disruption and assure safety.

Reward(s) (If applicable):

Reward systems are positive outcomes that encourage behavior modification, and they might contain motivators such as sticker charts, hugs, kiss and high five, among other things. These rewards are used to motivate a child to make a change in some way.

Measurable Goals (concrete/quantifiable changes by which progress is measured):

Targeted behavior treatments tailored to meet each child’s specific requirements can prevent these challenging behaviors and educate children to communicate effectively in response to obstacles by engaging in positive behaviors. A well-designed behavior intervention strategy can effectively reduce negative behaviors while ensuring a healthy educational environment promoting learning and improving family interactions.

Describe Reinforcement Schedule(s):

For me, A Reinforcement Schedule, in essence, is a rule that specifies which occurrences of behavior will be reinforced at when intervals. Every time a behavior is repeated, it may be strengthened in some instances. As a component of operant conditioning, positive or negative reinforcement can be utilized to train the child.

If Kaiden is very physically active in his play, this could be misinterpreted by other people. Brian might have to explain to Kaiden that not everyone plays the same way he does. That some kids like things to be a little calmer. If Kaiden is soothed by vigorous back rubs, he might look at it that Kaiden is more of an aggressive child. He likes things differently. He is more active than other students, and that he might have to sit down and talk to his child to find out what is going on with Kaiden at school with other students and get his perspective. Kaiden might not realize that he is being more aggressive with other students, and he might not realize when his classmates not be that physically active. It might impact his behavior plan a lot differently since he has to teach Kaiden to be a little less aggressive towards other students.
